Key to Gods divine rest

The message of grace has been so messed up.Grace is not a license to licentious living, grace does not remove the consequence of your actions.
Paul asked in Romans 6:1-2 ” shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?” Certainly not,his reply was “God forbid, that we who have been dead to sin,how shall we any longer live therein?”
God has predetermined that we shall enter into his rest,a rest from all kinds of toil already prepared for us through Christ and in Christ, like he rested after creation, financial rest, marital rest, mental rest, rest that brings peace.
The rest spoken of here is absolute freedom from fear, total peace in Christ Jesus!
This rest is so vital that Hebrews 4:1 says “Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. (Hebrews 4:1 NKJV)”
That the word fear was used to bring caution so that we don’t fall short of it,in other words the writer meant that we should walk carefully that we don’t miss out in this promise of divine rest.
The generation before us missed out in this rest because of their hardness of heart and disobedience, such that God restrained them from entering into His rest.Hebrew 4:3

Disobedience is not an Old Testament word but its an English word which simply means a lack of obedience or refusal to comply;disregard or transgression( dictionary.com).
The men of old didn’t enter this rest “because of their disobedience”Hebrews 4:6.
Grace doesn’t give room for disobedience, when you fail to follow the simple instructions lined out in the word of God(the BIble) you are living a life of disobedience, period!
God will not compromise his word,”don’t be deceived whatsoever a man sows that shall he reap” Galatians 6:7.
A life of disobedience will only yield a life of constant defeat, the reason why your life seems like its going in circles and you are not a fruitful Christian but going from one depression to the other, might just be that you are living life on your own terms and not Gods terms.
Who is rocking your boat you or God,stop the pity-party and face the terms, you need to do it Gods ways.
“Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, that no man fall after the same example of disobedience” Hebrews 4:11.
This rest is absolute rest from all your works just as God did-Hebrews 4:10.

Good word but what I dnt understand is grace doesn’t give room for disobedience, isn’t sin disobedience to Gods word ?yet God said IF you sin he is faithful and just to cleAnse u fro m unrighteousness, infact some version uses WHEN u sin.2ndly if grace does not give room for disobedience,y is it an unmeritted favor?if a man sins and deep down he is unncomfortable after d act,he is very much a saint but when he continues in dt act and is never remorseful or bcomes comfortable in sin then such is an abuse of grace,I’m not a preacher oh,bt I’m speaking from my own little understanding!

Thank you for your question it shows me you read this post and thanks for reading.Firstly let me explain what I meant when I said “grace doesn’t give room for disobedience”. That means “grace is not an excuse for sin” the word disobedience is a profound word, disobedience may not be an actual act of sin but a refusal to do an instruction, but the fact that you refused to do an instruction doesn’t necessarily mean its sin,but disobedience restrains you from certain success in your faith or life,so when I say disobedience I am not necessarily talking about acts of sin.when you read your bible there are certain instructions we call commands, and in commands you have no option, though you still have to chose to do it or not,but its still a command,so saying I am under grace and you still continue to disobey Gods instructions is disobedience and it has its repercussion’s.hope this helps you understand?
