“And Abel brought of the firstborn of his flock and of the fat portions. And the Lord had respect and regard for Abel and for his offering, [Heb. 11:4.] (Genesis 4:4 AMP)”
God is a God of impossibilities, there is nothing he can not change but to complete the process he needs you to play your part.
I have often said that faith is an Action word, just saying it is not enough, you need to put flesh to your words to bring life to it.
The bible declares that “with God all things are possible”and the same bible declares that “to him that believes shall all things be possible.”
Yes all things are possible with God but you must put your faith to action,to see the reality of what you confess.
Dealing with dead situations goes beyond just praying but acting!
We need to understand the power of sacrifice .
Abel’s sacrifice was accepted not because it was of blood but the bible declared that he offered a more excellent sacrifice than his brother Cain, since he selected the best of his flock.
His sacrifice was a reflection of his value for God,he didn’t just give God any kind of offering but he took the best of what he had and God was pleased.
The word sacrifice is described as “the surrender or destruction of something prized or desirable for the sake of something considered as having a higher or more pressing claim”(dictionary.com)
Abel couldn’t give God what was not valuable,it’s not about the quantity but the quality of your sacrifice he gave the very best,he selected the best of his flocks and gave to God,pleasing God was a high priority for Abel,so he knew he had to give the best.
Your sacrifice never dies, sacrifice has life in it.
God is an example of a sacrificial God,he gave his best, his only begotten son Jesus for us so we could be reconciled back to him but he had to give his best also.
Abel’s act of faith gave him right standing with God ” he obtained witness that he was righteous” God was pleased with his gifts hence he was accepted.
That’s why scriptures declares the gifts of a man makes room for him,Abel was not after bribing God,he was after pleasing God.
Even after he was dead,he still speaks, through his sacrifice,so your sacrifice gives live to the dead.
The sacrifice of Jesus gave life to us who were dead in sins,Abel’s sacrifice gave life to him, though he was dead he speaks.
Your dead situation can receive life, through your sacrifice,it could be a sacrifice of praise,an offering, but make sure it’s the best you got in there.
