The revelation of Gods grace is so profound that we can never exhaust it’s knowledge.I am always blown away, the grace of God is one of the many sides of Gods manifold wisdom.
We are saved by grace and not of our works!
In fact works makes the grace of God of no effect,Christ paid the complete price for our salvation.
Grace is the only thing that can make a worthless man become worthy, grace gave us room to be a part of the common wealth of Israel, only grace can make us,who were lost to be found in God.
When we think of where you are coming from, the wrongs we did before just like our brother Paul, all we can say to ourselves is “Lord We know we are not worthy” but thank God for the grace that took us from the dust, from sin and death and made us to be a prince and a priest.
“For I am the least [worthy] of the apostles, who am not fit or deserving to be called an apostle, because I once wronged and pursued and molested the church of God [oppressing it with cruelty and violence]. But by the grace (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God I am what I am, and His grace toward me was not [found to be] for nothing (fruitless and without effect). In fact, I worked harder than all of them [the apostles], though it was not really I, but the grace (the unmerited favor and blessing) of God which was with me. (1 Corinthians 15:9, 10 AMP)”
Paul declares “I am what I am,and his grace towards me was not for nothing”
You don’t need to prove anything,or even try to impress God,we are what we are because of Gods grace and Gods grace is at work in us so that the purpose of God will be achieved.
The grace of God will achieve not our goals but Gods purpose, but like Paul,we need to work harder,so that the grace of God will be of no effect.
Work harder to bring the purpose of Gods kingdom to pass, the grace of God has selected us for a purpose, the worthless and undeserving you,is now somebody, but its for a purpose,we are saved to save others saved to do Gods bidding.
Text : 1corinthians 15:8-10
“And Abel brought of the firstborn of his flock and of the fat portions. And the Lord had respect and regard for Abel and for his offering, [Heb. 11:4.] (Genesis 4:4 AMP)”
God is a God of impossibilities, there is nothing he can not change but to complete the process he needs you to play your part.
I have often said that faith is an Action word, just saying it is not enough, you need to put flesh to your words to bring life to it.
The bible declares that “with God all things are possible”and the same bible declares that “to him that believes shall all things be possible.”
Yes all things are possible with God but you must put your faith to action,to see the reality of what you confess.
Dealing with dead situations goes beyond just praying but acting!
We need to understand the power of sacrifice .
Abel’s sacrifice was accepted not because it was of blood but the bible declared that he offered a more excellent sacrifice than his brother Cain, since he selected the best of his flock.
His sacrifice was a reflection of his value for God,he didn’t just give God any kind of offering but he took the best of what he had and God was pleased.
The word sacrifice is described as “the surrender or destruction of something prized or desirable for the sake of something considered as having a higher or more pressing claim”(dictionary.com)
Abel couldn’t give God what was not valuable,it’s not about the quantity but the quality of your sacrifice he gave the very best,he selected the best of his flocks and gave to God,pleasing God was a high priority for Abel,so he knew he had to give the best.
Your sacrifice never dies, sacrifice has life in it.
God is an example of a sacrificial God,he gave his best, his only begotten son Jesus for us so we could be reconciled back to him but he had to give his best also.
Abel’s act of faith gave him right standing with God ” he obtained witness that he was righteous” God was pleased with his gifts hence he was accepted.
That’s why scriptures declares the gifts of a man makes room for him,Abel was not after bribing God,he was after pleasing God.
Even after he was dead,he still speaks, through his sacrifice,so your sacrifice gives live to the dead.
The sacrifice of Jesus gave life to us who were dead in sins,Abel’s sacrifice gave life to him, though he was dead he speaks.
Your dead situation can receive life, through your sacrifice,it could be a sacrifice of praise,an offering, but make sure it’s the best you got in there.

The message of grace has been so messed up.Grace is not a license to licentious living, grace does not remove the consequence of your actions.
Paul asked in Romans 6:1-2 ” shall we continue in sin that grace may abound?” Certainly not,his reply was “God forbid, that we who have been dead to sin,how shall we any longer live therein?”
God has predetermined that we shall enter into his rest,a rest from all kinds of toil already prepared for us through Christ and in Christ, like he rested after creation, financial rest, marital rest, mental rest, rest that brings peace.
The rest spoken of here is absolute freedom from fear, total peace in Christ Jesus!
This rest is so vital that Hebrews 4:1 says “Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. (Hebrews 4:1 NKJV)”
That the word fear was used to bring caution so that we don’t fall short of it,in other words the writer meant that we should walk carefully that we don’t miss out in this promise of divine rest.
The generation before us missed out in this rest because of their hardness of heart and disobedience, such that God restrained them from entering into His rest.Hebrew 4:3
Disobedience is not an Old Testament word but its an English word which simply means a lack of obedience or refusal to comply;disregard or transgression( dictionary.com).
The men of old didn’t enter this rest “because of their disobedience”Hebrews 4:6.
Grace doesn’t give room for disobedience, when you fail to follow the simple instructions lined out in the word of God(the BIble) you are living a life of disobedience, period!
God will not compromise his word,”don’t be deceived whatsoever a man sows that shall he reap” Galatians 6:7.
A life of disobedience will only yield a life of constant defeat, the reason why your life seems like its going in circles and you are not a fruitful Christian but going from one depression to the other, might just be that you are living life on your own terms and not Gods terms.
Who is rocking your boat you or God,stop the pity-party and face the terms, you need to do it Gods ways.
“Let us therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, that no man fall after the same example of disobedience” Hebrews 4:11.
This rest is absolute rest from all your works just as God did-Hebrews 4:10.
Grace is unearned favor,in the study of Accounting we have what we call (unearned Revenue – which is receiving money for services to be provided in the future).when you apply to the grace as unearned favor,it means the grace of God gives us access to future benefits now, without any work done.
To access that unearned favor is simply by Trusting in Gods word, simply believing and applying the word in your life, gives you access to Gods unearned favor.
You don’t need to intercede for Grace, grace comes as I apply the word of God,as I do the word,as I make the word of God my first point of call,Grace also comes in the place of worship and fellowshipping with the brethren.
Sometimes you feel down and worn out, because of the pressure of life, the grace of God floods you like springs of living water.
David puts it better “when my heart is overwhelmed please lead me to the rock that is higher than I” Psalm 61:1-2.
Jesus is that rock higher than us,grace and truth came through Christ,so only through Christ can we experience the abundance of Gods grace, that comes with a supernatural empowerment.
“We must approach his throne of grace,to obtain mercy and find grace to help in the time of need. Hebrews 4:16”
No matter the situation, the fault or flaw, there is grace enough for you!
Stop trying to work it out all by yourself, the is grace enough, sufficient grace to get you through this period of your life, you can tap into this grace and experience rest and constant bliss.
The Grace of God is shown more powerfully in your weakness,Like Paul you might have a thorn in your flesh that bothers you and you have been crying to God to remove it,hear ye the word of The Lord “My grace is sufficient for you,for my power is made perfect in your weakness”.
So rejoice because your flaw gives the grace of God room to display its power,to display its abilities and strengths.
So like Paul instead of crying, glory in your weakness, praise in the midst of the flaws, that the power of Christ,Gods supernatural ability will show forth in you and through you. 2corinthians 12:9.
A friend of mine once said,I quote “the only problem I have with God is that he is too slow in bringing judgement on the wicked”.
I am sure everyone sometimes had expected God to act quickly in judgement, when you look at the world and the degradation, the practice of the very things that caused Gods judgement to come down in the past, but today gay marriage is legalized against the word of God,sin is now legal,in the world we live in,murderers going free, people get away with crimes and it seems the wicked are prospering .
This was the issue of the Psalmist in the book of Psalms 73:1-2 “But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled; My steps had nearly slipped. For I was envious of the boastful, When I saw the prosperity of the wicked.”
In our world today it looks like the wicked are prospering in their evil and we are wondering “where is God?” .
But this scripture clears the whole matter “The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. (II Peter 3:9 NKJV)”
Don’t get it twisted,he is not slow but he is patient,he is patient for our sakes,he desires that all should come to repentance!
This is the reason why this world is still standing and not destroyed with all the evil going on around us,he is a patient God and he wants everyone to have the time and chance to come to repentance.
The bible has showed us in the book of Ezekiel,God said “Do I have any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?” says the Lord God, “ and not that he should turn from his ways and live? (Ezekiel 18:23 NKJV)”
God has no pleasure in the death of the wicked,he loves us all, that’s why he sent Jesus, his only begotten son to die.(John 3:16).
Lets not take his patience for foolishness, his promises are sure and he will do what he has promised, yes he promised blessings but also judgement for the wicked,so if the wicked refuses to repent judgement is sure.
The psalmist further said “Until I went into the sanctuary of God; Then I understood their end. (Psalms 73:17 NKJV)”
There is a sure end for the wicked.
God is not man,if he says a thing he will droit for sure ““God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? (Numbers 23:19 NKJV)”
We quote these scriptures when we talk about blessings but it still applies when we talk about judgement.
Text : 2Peter 3:9,10
So many people are running from pillar to post, searching for their healing, from one crusade ground to another healing service, from one prayer house to another, one anointed man of God to another, ignorant of the fact that what they are searching for actually starts with them.
This was the story of the woman with the issue of blood,a twelve years situation, she had spent all she had, from one physician to another but no cure, she only got worse.
Sometimes your change begins with what you hear, your ears is an entrance point to your mind, what you listen to can either quicken your change or make it worse.
But she heard about Jesus, and I can tell her confidence was developed as she heard about him and all that he had done, her faith was stirred up to believe that if she could but touch the hem of his garment she would be healed.
What she heard had affected her thinking pattern, she now had some belief that should could be healed.
What you hear can build you or mess you up,that’s why you must be careful with those you company with.
Lot was vexed by the things he saw and heard,in sodom and Gomorrah “For that just man, living [there] among them, tortured his righteous soul every day with what he saw and heard of [their] unlawful and wicked deeds– (2 Peter 2:8 AMP)”
As a result of what she heard, she established a connection with the power of God through the word she had heard about Jesus, but she needed to make a contact.
A contact without a connection is worthless.
There was a crowd and so many others must have had contact with Jesus, but her contact made a difference, because she already made a connection through what she heard.
Her connection was strong enough that when she touched Jesus, power left him!
The power of God is available to heal, deliver, set free, but you need to establish a connection, through the hearing of the word.
Thee are two kinds of believers,we have the passive believers and the active believers.
The passive believers are those who just believe and do nothing about what they believe.while the Active believers believe and act on what they believe.
Faith that pleases God and produces result is the faith that believes and acts on it.
Faith is not complete until you act on what you believe.
So until you act on what you believe,it’s just belief and its not profitable to you.
That’s why scriptures commands us,in James 1:22 ” Be ye doers of the word and not merely listeners to it,betraying yourself’s “
Hearing the word does not produce desired change but doing the word.
Yes the bible says “Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God” Romans 10:17, which means that through the word of God our confidence, belief is empowered.
The word of God is the number one tool for the growing of our belief, but just growing your belief is not Faith,it’s still belief until you act on it.
The reason why you are just there and not growing is because you keep hearing and not acting on what you hear and believe.
